Cross Country Race "Running with Sacombank for community health"

(Baonghean.vn) – To celebrate the founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union on March 26 and Vietnam Sports Day on March 27, this morning, March 23, Saigon Thuong Tin Bank (Sacombank) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An to organize the cross-country race "Running with Sacombank for community health".

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism opened the tournament.

The tournament attracted the participation of 500 athletes from delegations of districts, cities and students from schools across the province. The athletes participated in 13 mass and high-performance competitions.

Since 2004, Sacombank has officially launched the cross-country race "Running with Sacombank for community health" as an annual activity to celebrate the establishment of branches throughout the system. The race not only works with local authorities to promote the emulation movement of physical exercise and sports, building a spirit of solidarity, enthusiasm for studying and working for the young generation, but also serves as a link connecting Sacombank with the community. This is the 5th consecutive year that Sacombank Nghe An branch has organized this meaningful community activity in the locality.



High school women's cross country race starts



Athlete Phan Trong Tien - Phan Boi Chau High School won first place in the men's category.



The organizing committee awarded first, second and third prizes for the whole group.

As a result, the first prize for the whole team went to Quynh Luu, the second prize went to Nam Dan and the third prize went to Yen Thanh. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 12 individual prizes in the competition categories to outstanding athletes.
