(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 26, in Vinh City, the 2012 Cross Country Race for Community Health opened. The race was jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An and Sacombank.

Awarding first, second and third prizes for female and male team events in the age groups 10-16.

The tournament had 14 teams with 500 athletes (ages 10-16) from districts, cities and towns in the province, competing for 10 sets of medals. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded: First prize to Quynh Luu, Second prize to Thanh Chuong, Third prize to Nam Dan, and fourth place to Yen Thanh.

The annual community cross-country race has contributed to promoting the sports competition movement in localities, building a spirit of solidarity and enthusiasm for learning and working for young generations.
