Construction company director in despair kills someone then commits suicide
During the bidding process for construction projects, L.D.T. residing in Dong Thanh Ward, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province, suffered many losses and was forced to borrow money at high interest rates. The amount of money, from several billion to several tens of billions, made the victim think of suicide. At around 8:00 p.m. on January 24, this person decided to go to the house to kill the creditor and then commit suicide.
On the afternoon of January 25, the Investigation Police Agency of Quang Tri Province Police said that according to the report of Ms. Nguyen Thi G (born in 1971, residing in Ward 3, Dong Ha City), at the above time, Ms. G was home alone when L.D.T suddenly came and attacked her with an electric baton. Ms. G struggled to resist and escaped, but this person still chased and used an electric wire to strangle her, causing her to lose consciousness.
A while later, Mrs. G woke up and did not see T so she went to report to the police.
Upon receiving the information, the Criminal Police Department of Quang Tri Province Police coordinated with Dong Ha City Police and Dong Thanh Ward Police and Ward 3 Police to investigate. The force quickly found traces of the suspect in the area behind the Quang Tri Province Cultural - Cinema Center.
When approaching the suspect's car at this location, the force discovered that this person had died. At the scene, inside the car was a charcoal stove containing a burnt piece of honeycomb coal. Nearby, there was a suicide note stating that because the amount of money owed to Mrs. G had reached an unexpectedly large number and she was unable to pay that huge amount of money, she decided to kill the creditor and commit suicide.
It is known that L.D.T is the Director of a private construction company. During the course of business, due to repeated losses, he was forced to borrow money from Ms. G.
