Total price reduction on Kia, Mazda and Peugeot cars
Not only extending Kia's discount period, Thaco also applies discount programs to Mazda and Peugeot vehicles...

The highest discount for the Mazda2 model is 22 million VND in September. |
Not only extending Kia's retail price reduction, Mazda and Peugeot branded vehicles are also being offered a discount program by manufacturer and distributor Truong Hai (Thaco) to stimulate purchasing power.
Specifically, in September 2015, Thaco Kia continued to apply the highest discount of 65 million VND for the New Sorento model, the K3 sedan model had the highest discount of 26 million VND, the Optima model had a maximum discount of 25 million VND and the Rio 5-door hatchback version had a discount of 24 million VND...
Notably, in early August, Thaco also announced a price reduction for Kia vehicles along with a "recommendation" for customers to buy cars before the promotion ends. However, it seems that consumers have gradually become accustomed to Thaco Kia's "trick" because in the previous 2 consecutive months, the Korean brand also applied short-term price reductions but maintained them in the following month.
Also according to the announcement from Thaco, during the September price reduction, this car company applied quite high discounts for the Mazda brand.
Of which, the Mazda6 mid-size luxury sedan has the highest discount of 55 million VND, the CX-5 5-seat multi-purpose vehicle has a discount of 50 million VND, the Mazda3 enjoys a discount of 30 million VND and the highest discount for the Mazda2 is 22 million VND. Similarly, the highest discount of 52 million VND is applied by VinaMazda for the BT-50 pickup truck and the discount of 80 million VND is for the CX-9 7-seat multi-purpose vehicle.
Due to its high value, looking at the September price list, we can clearly see the surprising price reduction for Peugeot models, ranging from 35-118 million VND.
Like previous price reductions, Thaco continues to apply uneven price reductions for each version and each distribution area. This is causing more or less information interference for consumers.
Thanks to the continuous price reductions, sales of brands assembled and distributed by Thaco have recently achieved a fairly high growth rate.
According to the report of the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), total Kia car sales in the first 8 months of 2015 reached 11,726 units, up 77% over the same period last year; Mazda car sales reached 11,452 units, up 126%; Peugeot car sales reached 300 units, up 567%.
