Supervising investment work at Song Ngu Son Joint Stock Company (Cua Lo)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 25, the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council led by Comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee, Head of the Economic - Budget Committee of the Provincial People's Council supervised the implementation of the investment project of the Lan Chau - Song Ngu eco-tourism complex, resort villas, sports, and entertainment in Cua Lo town.

The project to invest in the Lan Chau - Song Ngu eco-tourism complex, resort villas, sports, entertainment, invested by Song Ngu Son Joint Stock Company was granted an investment certificate by the Provincial People's Committee on March 18, 2014, with a total investment capital of 1,969 billion VND, including 2 phases, phase I, from 2014 to 2018 and phase 2, from 2018 to 2023. After 6 months of having the investment decision, although there was no decision on land allocation, the enterprise proactively deployed a number of items on Lan Chau island to put into operation such as the restaurant area, yard, road to the island; renovating and repairing the pier; buying 5 high-speed canoes... and a number of items in the area of ​​​​Nguyen island's pagoda beach.

The monitoring delegation visited the Ngu island area.

However, up to this point, the project's implementation has only stopped there, because the enterprise is facing some difficulties. The most difficult problem is that the enterprise still does not have a land license and does not hand over land to implement the project; some areas in the project belong to the protective forest area and are waiting for competent authorities to complete procedures to change the land use purpose; some areas have not agreed on the compensation price for site clearance between Cua Lo town and organizations and individuals; some works in the project area are waiting for the policy to move. There are some areas that have been compensated according to the agreement but have not been cleared yet...

On behalf of the monitoring delegation, comrade Vo Viet Thanh acknowledged the project's difficulties and requested the enterprise to continue to coordinate with departments, branches and local authorities to resolve them and soon implement the project on schedule.
