Supervising the health insurance examination and treatment at Phu Dien General Hospital
(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of August 19, the monitoring delegation of the Provincial People's Council's Social and Cultural Committee had a working session with Phu Dien General Hospital on the implementation of health insurance examination and treatment.
Phu Dien General Hospital is a 100-bed private hospital with the mission of providing health insurance care and treatment for 10 communes of Bac Dien Chau, Samsung Dien Hong Garment Company and 3 neighboring communes of Yen Thanh district. Accordingly, the number of health insurance cards is allocated for health care at the hospital according to the contract with the Social Insurance.
In the past, the hospital has operated according to the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment and the Law on Health Insurance. Medical service prices are publicly transparent at the examination department; implementing technical lists according to technical classification approved by the Department of Health; supplying drugs according to the bidding list regulated by the Department of Health and the provincial Social Insurance. The hospital invests in modern facilities and equipment, upgrades infrastructure, and fully implements approved technical lists to meet the medical examination and treatment needs of the people. Patients coming to the hospital for medical examination and treatment are guaranteed their rights according to regulations.

After inspecting the hospital's medical examination and treatment records, the monitoring team acknowledged the unit's medical examination and treatment work for the people and recommended that the hospital increase investment in modern facilities and equipment, and strengthen staff training to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, contributing to better primary health care for the people.
