Supervise recruitment and use of civil servants at the Agricultural Project Management Board

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 9, under the chairmanship of comrade Nguyen Huu Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee, the Provincial People's Council's Legal Committee conducted a supervision of the recruitment and use of civil servants and public employees at the Provincial Agriculture and Rural Development Project Management Board. Also participating in the supervision were comrade Ho Ngoc Sy - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Department of Home Affairs.

The Project Management Board of Agriculture and Rural Development is a public service unit that performs the functions and tasks of advising and implementing the tasks of project management and investment in construction of the agriculture and rural development sector. Based on the assigned functions and tasks, the workload that the unit undertakes is quite large while the assigned staff is small, causing difficulties for the unit. Therefore, in addition to the 8 assigned staff in the civil servant and public employee category, the unit currently has 5 more staff in the attraction category; 15 self-supporting staff and 16 fixed-term contract workers. There is a reality that, because the unit's staff does not increase, the 5 attracted staff and a number of fixed-term contracts, although having good professional qualifications, good working capacity and a long working period, have not been recruited as civil servants.

During the supervision, after listening to the members of the supervision team raise a number of issues of concern, comrade Nguyen Huu Lam highly appreciated the strict implementation of regulations on recruitment, use and management of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers of the unit. At the same time, he reminded the unit to carry out the appointment and promotion of cadres for the attraction and self-supporting payroll in accordance with regulations.
