On the afternoon of March 19, at the Dong Khe canal bank (Dong Khe ward, Ngo Quyen district, Hai Phong), a shooting occurred between gangsters, resulting in one death.

The victim was identified as Hoang Quoc Binh (Binh "beo", 33 years old, residing in Van My ward, Ngo Quyen district) who was shot by a military pistol and died on the way to the emergency room.

According to investigation, the shooter was identified as Kien "jungle" (45 years old), a senior gangster in Hai Phong who specializes in pawning and lending money, and has now migrated to Ho Chi Minh City to live.

Previously, Kien “jungle” and Binh “fat” had a business relationship in the field of lending and pawning in Ho Chi Minh City. However, later a conflict arose between the two sides.

On the afternoon of March 19, upon learning that Kien Rung had just flown from Ho Chi Minh City to Hai Phong and was staying at Kien's sister's house in lane 272, Da Nang street (near Dong Khe canal), Binh "beo" brought a group of his juniors to talk about resolving the debt conflict.

An argument broke out between the two sides. Seeing that Binh "beo"'s group was about to attack him, Kien pulled out a military pistol and shot Binh "beo" dead.

Hai Phong City Police urgently investigated the crime scene and performed an autopsy to serve the investigation.

Police determined that Kien "jungle" fled the scene after committing the crime, so they focused their forces on capturing him.
