School security meeting cluster 1 in Do Luong

(Baonghean.vn) - In Do Luong district, Nghe An Department of Education and Training and Provincial Police just held a conference on school security in cluster 1 including 5 districts: Hung Nguyen, Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong, Yen Thanh and Do Luong.

In 2014, schools in the cluster organized 100% of staff, teachers and students to sign a commitment not to violate the law, accidents and social evils during the opening ceremony and the Lunar New Year. Schools also organized the establishment of red flag teams, school security and order teams, and maintained self-management. Classes on duty on duty were responsible for monitoring the situation and reminding students to comply with school regulations.

Schools also built law bookcases and documents related to the dissemination of legal education. School security guards have promoted a sense of responsibility, raised vigilance, and protected school property.

Overview of the conference

In addition to the results achieved, the conference focused on clarifying the limitations of school security in the past year. That is, the rate of disciplined students is still high, with 568 students being disciplined, of which 273 students violated the examination regulations and school rules. The most warned students were students from Do Luong and Yen Thanh districts. Two students from Do Luong district were prosecuted for theft and robbery. Particularly, among the staff and teachers, 106 people were disciplined, of which one school accountant was prosecuted for embezzlement, and three people were arrested for gambling.

In 2015, schools will strengthen the work of preventing, stopping, detecting and repelling all types of crimes. Focusing on making the work of preventing all types of crimes, eliminating social evils, and ensuring security and order one of the regular key tasks of each cadre, teacher, staff and student of the school.
