Meeting on border marker planting between Vietnam and Laos

As of March 5, 2013, the Vietnam - Laos Border Marker Planting Working Group has surveyed 116/116 markers and built 102/116 markers (14 markers are being surveyed and prepared for construction).
In the coming time, the Steering Committee will urge relevant sectors to strengthen the direction of completing the remaining border marker dossiers for appraisal, submit to the Provincial People's Committee for approval and implementation of construction. Direct the two border marker planting teams to continue to carry out tasks in the field according to the plan, and at the same time develop a specific plan to strive to construct the approved national border markers on schedule; ensure safety and savings during the survey and construction process; complete propaganda documents on border marker planting; coordinate with the National Border Committee - Ministry of Foreign Affairs to develop a Project to organize the inauguration ceremony of the 460th border marker at Thanh Thuy border gate and organize a conference to summarize the implementation of the Master Plan on increasing the density and embellishing the national border marker system in Vinh city, and submit to the Prime Minister.
