Online meeting to summarize the work of the Union and youth movement in 2011
This morning, December 2, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union held an online conference to summarize the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in 2011; to summarize Resolution No. 42 and Resolution No. 11 of the Politburo on the rotation of leaders and managers. The online conference was attended by 19 connecting points in districts, cities and towns.
(Baonghean) -This morning, December 2, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union held an online conference to summarize the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in 2011; to summarize Resolution No. 42 and Resolution No. 11 of the Politburo on the rotation of leaders and managers. The online conference was attended by 19 connecting points in districts, cities and towns.
Implementing the theme of the 2011 “Youth Year”, all levels of the Youth Union in the province have been active and proactive in organizing movements, creating a high-point, widespread emulation campaign among cadres and youth union members. In the movement “5 shocks to develop the socio-economy and protect the Fatherland”, the Provincial Youth Union has built 3 boarding houses for students in disadvantaged mountainous areas, built 5 great solidarity houses and 22 charity houses for people in flood-affected areas; in the movement “4 companions with young people to establish their careers”, all levels of the Youth Union from the province to the grassroots have actively guided students to borrow credit for studying, supported young people to borrow capital for vocational training and starting their careers with a debt balance of more than 503 billion VND for nearly 25,000 young people to borrow capital.
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee organized a summary of Resolution No. 42 - NQ/TU dated November 30, 2004 of the Politburo on cadre planning in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country and the implementation of Resolution No. 11 on the rotation of leaders and managers. Regarding cadre planning, the Provincial Youth Union always pays attention to discovering and nurturing young, capable and promising cadres to have a training plan; paying attention to the contingent of ethnic minority cadres and female cadres, ensuring the right structure, meeting the requirements of tasks in the new period.
Regarding the rotation of management staff, it is ensured to be continuous, regular and serious. From 2003 to now, 9 key leaders of the provincial youth union have been rotated to other jobs; 9 staff have been rotated within the agency; and 9 staff have been sent to the grassroots.
At the meeting, 19 points made recommendations, proposals and proposed solutions to develop the Youth Union and youth movement in the coming time.
