Propaganda meeting of cluster 6 Northwest districts

(Baonghean) - On December 16, in Thai Hoa Town, the Propaganda Department of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a conference on Propaganda work in 6 districts and towns in the northwestern region of the province (including Thai Hoa Town, Nghia Dan, Tan Ky, Quy Hop, Quy Chau, Que Phong districts) to evaluate the implementation of propaganda work in 2011 and set out directions and tasks for 2012. Comrade To Hong Hai - Standing Committee member, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.

The reports presented by the leaders of the Propaganda Department of 6 districts and towns all specifically assessed the work of deploying, studying, and inspecting the implementation of the Party's Resolutions; the work of building the organization and apparatus, the team doing propaganda work at the grassroots level; the coordination work within the sector, the coordination between the Propaganda Department and the state management agencies at the same level in implementing the socio-economic development policy and solving urgent problems of the people; the implementation of a number of tasks authorized by the Party Committee; a number of regular activities of the sector. The existing limitations and causes in propaganda work in each locality.

Concluding the conference, comrade To Hong Hai highly appreciated the activities of the Propaganda Departments of localities in the past time, and emphasized that the Propaganda Departments of districts and towns need to further strengthen the work of grasping the ideological situation, public opinion, and forecasting the situation to serve the work of information orientation; actively innovate propaganda work, political theory education work in an effective and practical direction; pay attention to perfecting, consolidating and improving the quality of activities of the grassroots reporting team; effectively perform the work of advising the Party Committee to solve pressing social issues in the fields of education, health, culture, sports, environment, etc. At the same time, actively receive, exchange and learn from experiences between units in the cluster, to continue implementing propaganda work in 2012 to achieve better results.
