Quynh Luu parishioners put all their faith in the election day
(Baonghean.vn) - With the spirit of respecting God and loving the country, religion accompanies the nation, together with voters nationwide, Catholics in Quynh Luu district (Nghe An) are eagerly looking forward to election day.
These days, visiting Thanh Da Parish, we clearly feel the excited, vibrant atmosphere with banners, slogans, red flags with yellow stars promoting and encouraging the election day of the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, term 2016-2021.
Parishioner Ho Quy in Hamlet 5, Quynh Thanh Commune said: “All the people in the hamlet support and believe in the increasingly innovative policies of the State. Hopefully, this election will select representatives with heart, vision, virtue, and talent, truly for the people and the country.”

The entire Quynh Thanh commune has 14 hamlets and is divided into 8 election clusters with more than 8,100 voters. Currently, the commune is urgently completing preparations for the election day. Propaganda slogans are hung on major roads, and the list of candidates and voters has been fully posted at 8/8 election clusters so that parishioners have time to study and learn before voting.
Not only propagating through the loudspeaker system, departments, branches and organizations also incorporate propaganda through neighborhood meetings about the time and location of elections, candidates' biographies, and voters' rights and obligations on election day.

Quynh Luu district has 12 parishes, 34 sub-parishes with more than 45,000 people divided into 25 constituencies. The Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front of the district and communes and towns with religious followers have stepped up propaganda work with many rich and diverse forms.
Mass organizations work with priests, parishes, and religious communities to integrate election propaganda into religious activities of parishioners.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Vien - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Quynh Luu district said: "The Standing Committee has sent an official dispatch to priests to propagate and mobilize voters who are parishioners to vote; at the same time, discuss with dignitaries to arrange religious schedules that do not overlap with the election time so that voters in the parish go to vote to ensure the prescribed rate. At the same time, review the polling stations; prepare ballot boxes, ballot boxes and related conditions".
