Exchange of film artists playing the role of Uncle Ho with Vinh University students
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the Film Series celebrating the 40th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South, national reunification and the 125th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2015), on the evening of May 13, the Department of Cinema organized a delegation of Cinema artists to visit and exchange with all students of Vinh University.
Attending the exchange were Mr. Phan Dinh Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Cinema, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; film artists who played the role of President Ho Chi Minh through the periods, along with representatives of the Board of Directors of Vinh University and many lecturers and students.

At the exchange, Vinh University students had the opportunity to talk and listen to the confidences of film crews and actors who played the role of Uncle Ho such as the film crew "Thau Chin in Xiem"; actor Tien Hoi - who successfully portrayed the image of the patriotic youth Nguyen Tat Thanh in the film "See you again Saigon" and leader Nguyen Ai Quoc in the film "Hanoi, winter of 1946"; young actor Minh Duc - the next person to successfully portray the image of the patriotic youth Nguyen Tat Thanh in the film "Looking out to the sea"...

Film crews and actors shared the difficulties in the process of building the image of President Ho Chi Minh in the process of assimilation of his awareness, ideology and revolutionary path. Accordingly, making a film about a historical figure is difficult, and that figure is the beloved President of the whole nation, so it is even more difficult. Actors such as artist Tien Hoi, actor Minh Duc ... had to read a lot of documents about Uncle Ho, even trying to go to the places Uncle Ho had visited to build for themselves the necessary knowledge foundation and emotional resources when playing the role.
