Exchange and meet Dan Lai women
(Baonghean.vn) - On March 5, 2013, on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8), the Con Cuong District Women's Union organized an exchange and meeting with Dan Lai women in Thach Son village (Thach Ngan commune).
The purpose of the exchange was to create conditions for Dan Lai women from Thach Son village (formerly living at the headwaters of Khe Khang, relocated to resettle under the project to preserve and develop the Dan Lai ethnic group) to have the opportunity to expand relationships in the spirit of solidarity, actively integrate with the community, and contribute to building a rich and beautiful homeland.

At the exchange, the women reviewed the history of International Women's Day and the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women, from the time of the Hai Ba Trung Uprising to the resistance against the French and Americans and the current national construction and renovation. The most special part of the exchange program was the artistic performances from the Women's Associations in Thach Ngan and Mau Duc communes.

On this occasion, the Con Cuong District Women's Union presented a gift of 3 million VND to the Thach Son Village Women's Union to build a fund. The district leaders and Mon Son Border Guard Station (Con Cuong) presented the women with meaningful gifts.
