Exchange to celebrate the 66th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany
(Baonghean) -To celebrate the 66th anniversary of the victory over Nazi Germany (May 9, 1945 - May 9, 2011), on the afternoon of May 7, the Vietnam - Russia Friendship Association in collaboration with Dang Thai Mai Secondary School (Vinh City - Nghe An) organized an exchange program with the theme "Victory over fascism - the heroic epic of the Soviet Red Army".

The exchange was an opportunity for students studying Russian at the school to learn about the Soviet Union, review the history of the Soviet Red Army's victory over fascism; listen to stories about the Russian people's love for Vietnam, the Soviet Union's contributions to the resistance war against the US to save the country, and the situation of Russia-Vietnam friendship and cooperation through stories told by people who lived, studied and worked in the heroic Soviet country. At the exchange, teachers and students of Dang Thai Mai Secondary School also organized a Russian speaking contest and learned Russian vocabulary.
This is also an activity to further promote the teaching and learning of Russian in schools according to the policy of the Department of Education and Training. Currently in the province, in addition to Vinh University and Phan Boi Chau School, Dang Thai Mai Secondary School is the third institution organizing the teaching and learning of Russian.
