Art exchange between the Vietnamese and Singaporean armies

On the evening of September 11 in Hanoi, an art exchange program took place between the Vietnam People's Army Military Band and the Singapore Army Art Troupe, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore (August 1, 1973 - August 1, 2013) and to welcome Mr. Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of Singapore, to his official visit to Vietnam.

The art exchange program with the theme "Melodies of Friends" used unique sounds and dances with a unique combination of Eastern and Western music, becoming the emotional levels and friendship between the two Parties and two States.

In particular, this is also an opportunity to enhance the military relationship between Vietnam and Singapore to a new height, on the basis of the increasingly consolidated and developed relationship between the two countries.

Colonel Nguyen Phuong Dien, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, said: "This is a unique and special program imbued with Eastern identity, interspersed with very modern Western music. The public will enjoy a gift full of romance, but also full of solidarity and friendship between the two armies."

At 5:00 p.m. on September 12, the art exchange program "Friends' Melody" continued its second performance at Ly Thai To Flower Garden, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi./.
