(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of February 24, in Vinh City, the Nghe An Border Guard Command organized a cultural and artistic exchange night with the theme "Border Song".
Attending the exchange night were Vietnamese Heroic Mothers; representatives of the Vietnam Border Guard Command; representatives of the authorities of three Lao provinces sharing a border with Nghe An, including Bolykhamxay, Xieng Khouang and Hua Phan; provincial departments, Vinh City and Commanders, officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard.

CArtistic and poetic performances by officers, soldiers and students of Vinh University, the provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities and sister units of the Border Guard clearly depicted the image of the Border Guard in carrying out the task of protecting the Fatherland's borders. This is one of the activities to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "National Border Guard Day" (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2014), the 55th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2014) and to receive the title of Heroic Unit of the People's Armed Forces for the second time.
