(Baonghean.vn) - To celebrate the 55th anniversary of Border Guard Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2014), the 25th anniversary of People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2014), on the night of March 2, 2014, at My Ly Border Guard Station (My Ly Commune - Ky Son District), Nghe An Border Guard Command coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to organize an exchange night with the theme "Spring on the Border".
The program aims to encourage Border Guard officers and soldiers on duty at the border, arouse and foster love for the homeland, and promote the pioneering role of young people in participating in protecting the sovereignty and security of the Fatherland's borders.
On this occasion, Nghe An Provincial Youth Union presented 220 gifts to poor students in My Ly commune and 15 million VND to officers and soldiers of My Ly Border Post - Nghe An Border Guard.
