(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of February 26, on the occasion of the 23rd anniversary of "People's Border Defense Day" (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2012), the 53rd anniversary of the establishment of the Border Defense Force (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2012) at Border Defense Station 547 (Nam Can Commune, Ky Son District), a Vietnamese cultural exchange program was held with the theme "Spring on the Border".
The exchange was attended by the delegation of the General Department of Force Building (Ministry of Public Security), the Provincial Youth Union, universities, colleges, the Provincial Border Guard Command, Ky Son district and a large number of people, teachers and students of the two communes of Nam Can and Luu Kien (Tuong Duong district).
The cultural and artistic performances in the exchange night mainly praised the Party, Uncle Ho, love for the homeland, the country, the people of western Nghe An, the solidarity between the army and the people at the border, especially praising the Border Guard soldiers.
