American professor lectures and babysits students

When a female student announced that she could not come to class because she was busy taking care of her child, Professor Henry asked her to bring her child to class so he could take care of her.

Ashton Robinson, a student at Texas A&M University (USA), is a single mother who has to take care of her child and go to school at the same time.

During an important presentation, she tried to find a babysitter to take her to class but could not find anyone suitable. Finally, the female student had to email her lecturer - Professor Henry Musoma - to ask for a leave of absence, The Telegraph reported on September 12.

Ashton was surprised to receive an email back from the teacher shortly after. He asked her to bring her child to class and he would look after him.

As requested, Aston took her child to school that day. Professor Henry held Emmett, her child, while lecturing. In the arms of a stranger, the boy appeared well-behaved and did not cry.

"Being a single mother is a big challenge. But thanks to kind people like Professor Henry Musumo, life has become easier for me. When my child grows up, I will tell this story so that he knows that it was Professor Henry who helped me graduate from university," Ashton shared.
