Provincial excellent teacher competitionIn 2024, 483 teachers registered to take the exam in 15 subjects, from 288 secondary schools of 21 Departments of Education and Training in the whole province. Some subjects with a large number of teachers participating are Foreign Language (50 teachers), Literature (61 teachers), Math (100 teachers).

Teachers are honored and selected from the emulation movement of good teaching in units, from school and district level competitions, ensuring the standards according to Circular 22 of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Through 2 rounds of competition, in the section reporting on measures to improve teaching quality, many quality reports focused on issues necessary for teaching and developing students' qualities and abilities in each subject. Notably, teachers delved into groups of issues that are key to implementing the 2018 General Education Program based on the characteristics of the local situation and the school where the teachers are working.

Of the 481 teachers who took the practical exam, 208 teachers achieved an average score of 18 points or higher, of which 15 teachers achieved an average score of 19 points or higher.
One of the remarkable successes of this contest is that the number of teachers in mountainous districts such as Ky Son, Tuong Duong, Con Cuong, Que Phong, Quy Chau, Quy Hop participating is relatively larger than previous times, and among them, many ethnic minority teachers participated in the contest and achieved high results.

At the closing ceremony, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to 15 teachers with the highest results.
The Department of Education and Training and the Industry Union also awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 collectives and 336 teachers with high achievements in the Competition.
