4 Nghe An teachers honored as outstanding national teachers
The outstanding teachers nationwide are those who have made great contributions to the cause of educating people, achieved many achievements in teaching and learning, and are examples of diligence, overcoming difficulties, for the sake of beloved students.
The Ministry of Education and Training has just announced a list of 251 outstanding teachers and educational staff in 2024. In this list, Nghe An Education sector is honored to have 4 teachers honored.
Representing the preschool level of Nghe An province, that is teacher Le Thi Quang (born in 1975) - Vice Principal of Xa Luong Kindergarten, Tuong Duong district.
During many years working in the mountainous district of Tuong Duong, teacher Le Thi Quang has made constant efforts and is a key cadre at the provincial and district levels of preschool education. She is also the one who builds and directs emulation movements well in the unit. With the heart of a teacher in the highlands, Ms. Quang has done a good job of mass mobilization and socialization of education to mobilize agencies, businesses, philanthropists, and benefactors to support and donate more than 1.5 billion VND in kind to the school.

The second person honored to represent secondary school is teacher Tran Yen Viet (born in 1982) - teacher at Quang Phong Secondary School, Que Phong district.
Mr. Viet has 19 consecutive years of teaching Physical Education at schools in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions in Que Phong district such as Tri Le Secondary School, Hanh Dich Secondary School, Tien Phong Secondary School, Quang Phong Secondary School; has professional prestige and has achievements in training students to win prizes at many Phu Dong Sports Festivals at district and provincial levels, having a good and widespread influence in the district.
The third teacher representing the high school level is Mr. Nguyen Van Tien (born in 1982) - Physics teacher, Do Luong 1 High School. He is a key member of the provincial Physics subject (participating in marking grassroots initiatives in Physics, member of the drafting committee for the high school graduation review exam in 2023, 2024; member of the marking committee for the entrance exam to Phan Boi Chau specialized grade 10 in 2024; continuously mobilized to participate in the selection work in the provincial excellent student exams, grade 10 entrance exams, high school graduation exams) and is 1/16 members of the social opinion gathering collaborator team of the Nghe An Education Trade Union.
He has many innovative experiences and has many years of students winning high prizes in provincial excellent student competitions and provincial science and technology competitions. In 2023, he won first prize in the Provincial Excellent Teacher Competition at high school level.
The last person to be honored representing the Continuing Education sector is teacher Hoang Thi Hoai An (born in 1972) - currently Deputy Director of the Continuing Education - Career Guidance Center of Nghe An.
With 31 years of experience in the field of Continuing Education, including 8 years as a center manager, teacher Hoang Thi Hoai An is considered to have solid professional knowledge in the assigned fields and in charge of management. She has also made many contributions to the development of teaching ethnic minority languages for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces; teaching English, fostering life values, and life skills for students in Nghe An province.

Commendation CeremonyNational Outstanding TeacherThe event is scheduled to be held on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day (November 20). Thereby, it aims to commend, honor and show gratitude to outstanding teachers who have made many innovations and contributions to the education sector at the Departments of Education and Training, universities, colleges, academies and pedagogical colleges nationwide.
