For the first time, Nghe An province has launched its "Popular Education Team"
This was one of the main points of the launching ceremony for Youth Month 2025, held in Hanh Dich commune, Que Phong district on the morning of March 1st.
Attending the ceremony from the Central Government were: Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thuy - Deputy Director of the Department for Monitoring Anti-Corruption, Waste, and Negative Phenomena, and Chairwoman of the Trade Union of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; Ms. Truong Thi Hong Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of General Research of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; and Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of Bach Mai Hospital.
On the provincial side, there were representatives from the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, the Department of Health, and other relevant political and social organizations, departments, and agencies.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Thi Phuong Thuy - Member of the Central Committee of the Youth Union, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, and President of the Vietnam Youth Union Association of Nghe An province - emphasized: With the theme:"The youth of Nghe An are proud and steadfast in their support of the Party."The Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union has identified 10 key targets and 10 peak days/weeks for young people throughout the province in various aspects of life, economy, and society.

Based on these contents, the Provincial Youth Union proposes that all levels of the Youth Union concretize them into intensive emulation campaigns and design and organize specific activities to attract social attention and care for the comprehensive development of young people.
The focus of this includes implementing the "Popular Education Movement," and participating in emulation campaigns to celebrate major holidays of the Party and the country, as well as welcoming Party congresses at all levels leading up to the 14th National Congress of the Party.
The "Popular Education" teams, with youth as their core force, are tasked with focusing on disseminating information and raising awareness among all segments of the population, including youth organizations at all levels, members of youth groups, and association members, about "Popular Education"; and organizing "Popular Education" classes. These teams will disseminate, support, and popularize basic knowledge and skills in information technology to the public and young people; and organize in-person and online courses on essential digital skills.
Providing guidance and promoting the use of computers, smart devices, and social media among the public; online public services and interaction with the government through digital platforms; guiding people to access the internet and essential digital skills (using software and social media) in a civilized manner, ensuring basic information security and safety, avoiding digital fraud; identifying and preventing harmful and toxic information in the digital space.

At the event, the Organizing Committee launched the "Digital Popular Education" teams and announced the "Digital Youth Union Member" branding.
Presenting plaques to support the construction of 6 houses for local people, and supporting 2 youth economic development models.
They donated nearly 3,800 cartons of milk, 130 gift packages to underprivileged students, a playground for children and teenagers, a television, a computer set, and 100 maps of Vietnam… with a total value of 1.1 billion VND.

Following the launching ceremony, delegates and youth union members participated in meaningful projects and activities such as: commencing the construction of a charitable house in Chieng village, Hanh Dich commune; inaugurating a playground for children and teenagers in Long Thang village, Hanh Dich commune; providing health consultations, distributing medicine, and giving gifts to 1,000 people in Que Phong district.

In addition, youth teams in Nghe An conducted programs to promote awareness of border, sea, and island sovereignty, the Law on Marriage and Family, and the prevention of child marriage, and the harmful effects of drugs, e-cigarettes, and stimulants at Hanh Dich Ethnic Boarding Junior High School; and provided training on working with children and preventing violence and child abuse for teachers in charge of the Youth Union and the Youth Union Council at the commune and district levels in Que Phong district at the Hanh Dich Commune People's Committee hall.

In addition, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union of Nghe An province organized a program to disseminate information about sovereignty, borders, seas, and islands to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); provided IT skills training in response to the "Digital Literacy Movement" and offered career guidance, enrollment advice, and job placement services for young people at Que Phong High School; and a series of "March at the Border" programs at Thong Thu Border Guard Station, Que Phong district.
On this occasion, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union directed 100% of the Youth Union branches in the province to organize activities in response.
Throughout the province, more than 40 volunteer teams were established, carrying out 84 youth projects and activities, building one charitable house, planting tens of thousands of trees, deploying 34 youth volunteer teams for "Popular Education," providing medical examinations, dispensing medicine, and giving gifts to more than 2,200 people, with a total resource of over 2 billion VND.
