Teachers assigned to administrative positions are entitled to retain preferential allowances.

(Baonghean) - According to Decision No. 42/2011/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, from October 1, 2011, teachers and educators who are participating in teaching in public preschool and general education institutions with decisions on transfer, secondment, or rotation from September 1, 2010 to May 31, 2015 to work at the Departments of Education and Training of districts, towns, and cities under the province; Departments of Education and Training at the provincial level but do not hold leadership positions and do not receive leadership position allowances will have their preferential allowances reserved.

The above regulation aims to support teachers to overcome difficulties in the initial period of implementing the transfer decision. The preferential allowance level retained is the preferential allowance level that teachers are enjoying at public preschool and general education institutions before being transferred or rotated to work at the Department of Education and Training or the Department of Education and Training.

The time allowed for retention is the actual time the teacher works at the Department of Education and Training, Department of Education and Training, maximum 36 months.

Preferential allowance retained for 1 month = salary coefficient according to current grade, rank, seniority allowance exceeding the framework (if any) x common minimum wage x preferential allowance retained.
