Specifically: In the reading comprehension section, the new material is interesting and has humanistic value when it addresses the first source of nurturing for every human being: the family.

The social commentary section required students to discuss a very relevant and practical issue, especially for 9th-grade students in junior high school – as they prepare to embark on a new stage of their lives that demands independence.

In the literary analysis section, the prompt was very relevant, choosing a central text from the junior high school Vietnamese language curriculum, and the requirements were light and simple. For this section, candidates needed to understand the two main sources of nourishment in each person's life: first, family, and second, homeland. With clear arguments, and by focusing on artistic elements such as poetic imagery, language, and tone, students could elaborate on and clarify the origins of each person's upbringing.

Getting a high score on this test isn't too difficult, because the reading comprehension section requires very basic knowledge, so candidates can easily score full marks.

In the section on Social Commentary, the teacher has thoroughly reviewed the essay structure, and students can fluently apply this structure to solve the essay. However, the role of independence must be especially emphasized.

In the section on Literary Analysis, differentiation is reflected in the skill of establishing a clear and coherent argument, especially in adhering to artistic signals to understand the content, avoiding paraphrasing or paraphrasing of the poem or verse.

This particular question highlights the mountainous style of poet Y Phương, requiring candidates to analyze the poem to understand the distinctive mountain-themed thinking and the realistic, concrete imagery of this poet from the Tay ethnic group.

After reviewing this year's exam, teacher Van Huong believes that the questions are relevant and appropriate for students: For the first time, the exam is based on a unified theme, guiding students towards a humane way of life while also helping them develop clear and coherent thinking throughout the process. Furthermore, the exam effectively differentiates students across all questions, focusing on their skills and knowledge, which will make the exam more engaging for students.

According to teacher Van Huong, this year's exam simultaneously addressed several "dual" objectives: In question 1, using a text outside of the textbook about children's feelings towards their parents, besides testing students' knowledge, the exam also highlighted the love and humanity of each student when answering the question. Through this, students needed to demonstrate their responsibility to their parents, family, and homeland, while also cultivating an independent lifestyle...

The social commentary essay question, while not unusual, is not easy and still provides a degree of differentiation. This is evident in the way the question is phrased, creating opportunities for students to demonstrate their abilities and argumentative writing skills.

Regarding the literary analysis section, this is a representative work of modern Vietnamese poetry. However, achieving a high score requires students' ability to analyze and appreciate the poem. The poem "Speaking to My Child" by poet Y Phương is excellent, addressing practical issues in family life and the homeland, making it relatable to students.
