(Baonghean.vn) - With the wish that their students have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival, teachers in the border commune of Nhon Mai (Tuong Duong district) crossed the river to bring joy to poor students who suffer many deprivations in this mountainous area.

Pieng Luong Village (Nhon Mai Commune, Tuong Duong District) is located about 300 km from the city. This village is located on the Nam Non River and is home to two primary and kindergarten schools with 86 students. Life here is still difficult, mainly self-sufficient.

To get to these two satellite schools, from the main school, teachers must take a boat across the river and walk another hour.
The star lanterns were prepared early by teachers and brought from the main school to give to students to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival.
In particular, the kindergarten teachers also made many funny animals from fruits available in the village.
Candy, banh tet, and croissants are neatly arranged on trays for students to enjoy.
The performances by teachers and villagers brought a joyful atmosphere to the Mid-Autumn Festival for children in the highlands here.
Fun games also bring excitement to students.
