The Literature exam consists of two parts: Reading comprehension and writing. The writing part includes a literary essay and a social essay.

According to teacher Dinh Le Sam, the test content is within the 12th grade Literature program. In the reading comprehension section, the questions required candidates to answer are quite easy, even some questions such as what poetic form to write in, what techniques to use can be answered by secondary school students and have been thoroughly reviewed by teachers.

In the writing section, teacher Dinh Le Sam said that the essay "Who named the river" is a very good essay by Hoang Phu Ngoc Tuong and may be the best essay in Vietnamese writing.

Regarding the requirements of this test, it is easier than the sample test because it only requires candidates to feel about the article. Meanwhile, the sample test usually requires analyzing 2 issues in one evidence.

The difficulty of this test is that students need to be subtle, must read the text carefully, must know how to analyze images, words, tone and must be able to express the author's ego.

In addition, in the analysis process, besides analyzing the artistic content, we also analyze the author from other perspectives of a writer, geographer, culturalist, and scientist.

This is also a question to differentiate students because if students do not read carefully, understand thoroughly and do not have a method of doing the test, they will only be able to write a few paragraphs based on the text language without seeing the writer's talent.

The exam ensures both basic content and knowledge, but also has deep differentiation. The literary essay question requires students to apply many operations such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, and evaluation to achieve high scores.

Regarding the literary argument, the structure is slightly different from the sample exam but is still within the core issues of the review program. However, students will find it difficult to write long and good literary argumentative essays because they require deep, solid knowledge and comparison.
