Royal couple make public appearance after birth of Princess Charlotte
Three days after her birth, Prince William made a birth certificate for his daughter at Kensington Palace, witnessed by Alison Cathcart - the officer in charge of registering birth certificates of Westminster City Council.
It is known that Ms. Cathcart is the person honored to register the birth certificates of many members of the royal family.
What's even more special about Princess Charlotte's birth certificate is the section listing her parents' occupations. It's unlike any other birth certificate.
Although Kate rarely refers to herself as a princess, preferring to use the title Duchess of Cambridge given to her by the Queen at her wedding, she is officially Her Royal Highness Princess William of Wales and a Princess of the United Kingdom.
Prince William is the father of his daughter and he listed “Her Royal Highness the Princess of the United Kingdom” and “Her Royal Highness the Prince of the United Kingdom” in the occupation section, not “helicopter pilot”.

Special birth certificate of the little princess - the 4th in line of succession
Normally, parents must visit the registrar within 42 days of their child's birth to register it. But in Princess Charlotte's case, Ms Cathcart went all the way to Kensington Palace to help.
Ms Cathcart, who also registered Prince George's birth, faced a crisis and was the target of threats and criticism when her handwritten copy of the birth certificate was deemed sloppy.
Princess Charlotte is known to be fourth in line to the throne, after Prince George. Prince Harry was pushed down to fifth place, while Prince Andrew – the Queen’s second son – is sixth.
