American scientists comment on what remains in Ukraine
(Baonghean.vn) - American political scientist John Mearsheimer commented that after Russia's victory, Ukraine will become an exhausted country with many dysfunctions.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post (China), American political scientist John Mearsheimer commented that after Russia's victory, Ukraine will lose a large number of territories and become an exhausted country.
“What remains of Ukraine will be a dysfunctional state, unable to conduct major military operations against Russia, and will not meet the criteria for joining the EU or NATO. This will be the final outcome of the conflict,” the political scientist said.
Ukraine will lose “a significant amount of land,” equivalent to about half of its territory, according to John Mearsheimer. The political scientist predicted that military conflict will continue for another two years; he urged the West to prepare for a “very unpleasant” Russian victory.
“After the conflict, Ukraine will be divided and its western part will probably be annexed by Poland, a NATO member state. But Ukraine, as an independent country, will never be able to become a member of the military alliance,” said former US intelligence officer Scott Ritter.
