Introducing candidates for Thanh Chuong District People's Council

Implementing the Law on Election of People's Councils at all levels, the Thanh Chuong District Fatherland Front Committee has just organized a conference to introduce candidates for the 18th District People's Council term 2011-2016 with the participation of Chairmen of the Fatherland Front Committees of communes and towns.

After publicly announcing the number of candidates as announced by the District Election Council, the delegates agreed to introduce representative delegates to run for the 18th District People's Council.

Accordingly, in this term, the Thanh Chuong District People's Council has 50 delegates. Of which, the district-level agencies have 23 delegates, the commune-level agencies have 24 delegates, and the rest are representatives of good production and business households. Along with the above content, the conference also discussed and evaluated the results of the election implementation at the grassroots units.
