Preserve and promote the historical and cultural values ​​of the Kim Lien relic complex

Dear leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front and Nghe An province, and distinguished delegates!
Dear compatriots and comrades!

Today, we make a pilgrimage and gather in our hometown Nam Dan, Nghe An province to attend the inauguration ceremony of the project to renovate and beautify the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, the mother of beloved Uncle Ho. In this solemn moment, we respectfully offer her fragrant incense and fresh flowers to express our deep gratitude to her - "The one who gave birth to and raised President Ho Chi Minh, the one who brought glory to Vietnam, the one to whom all Vietnamese people from generation to generation will forever be grateful"⁽¹⁾.

On this occasion, I would like to send to the leaders, former leaders of the Party, State, Vietnam Fatherland Front; Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province; revolutionary veterans, heroic Vietnamese mothers; representatives of leaders of ministries, central agencies, provinces and cities across the country, distinguished guests, compatriots and comrades my warmest feelings, wishes for health, happiness and success.

Dear compatriots and comrades!

In the history of building and defending the country of our people, Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan's family is an exemplary embodiment of immense dedication and sacrifice for the cause of national liberation, independence and freedom for the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. She is a shining example of the qualities of Vietnamese women, of the kindness, sacrifice, devotion of a wife and mother who loves her husband and children wholeheartedly, wholeheartedly so that her husband and children can realize the noble goals and ideals for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for a peaceful and unified country so that everyone can enjoy freedom, prosperity, happiness, education and progress...

It is the thousand-year-old tradition of the country, of the homeland, the education of the family, including the kind mother, who worked hard day and night, that contributed to molding the personality, virtue, extraordinary determination, strong will, altruism, kindness, and harmony of the great President Ho Chi Minh; for the Fatherland, for the people, he traveled all over the world, wandering to find a way to save the country but always remembered the Fatherland, remembered the homeland through emotional verses: "Away from home for a few decades / Last night I heard the gentle mother lulling her child to sleep"⁽²⁾.

To commemorate the merits of the person who gave birth to President Ho Chi Minh, in 1984 - 1985, the Party and State decided to build a large-scale renovation of the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan. As we know, the Kim Lien relic site, including the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, is a priceless heritage of the Party, the State and our nation. The tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan is a place for generations of Vietnamese descendants and international friends to visit, forever remember the great merits and pay their respects to her - a woman, a great, pure source who gave birth to and raised President Ho Chi Minh, the national liberation hero, an outstanding cultural celebrity. And today, on the occasion of the 121st anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the 100th anniversary of Uncle Ho's departure to find a way to save the country, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province organized the inauguration ceremony of the project to restore and embellish the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan.

On behalf of the Party and State leaders, I warmly commend the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province for their great contributions to the restoration and embellishment of Kim Lien relic site and Hoang Thi Loan tomb during these sacred days.

Dear compatriots and comrades!

Nghe An is one of the "geomancy" regions, where there are thousands of historical and cultural relics, including hundreds of national historical and cultural relics and Kim Lien relic site is one of the four special historical and cultural relic sites about President Ho Chi Minh in our country. Therefore, in the coming time, I propose that the Party Committee, authorities at all levels and people of Nghe An province continue to do well the following tasks:

Firstly, from a deep awareness of one's responsibility to represent compatriots and comrades nationwide to directly preserve, embellish and promote the historical and cultural values ​​of the Kim Lien relic site, including the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan, continue to organize, manage and guide visitors in a thoughtful, polite and civilized manner. Continuously contribute to educating the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source" of our nation, helping young generations of Vietnam promote the pride and revolutionary tradition of the homeland, of the country and the determination to act revolutionary to realize the dreams and ambitions that Uncle Ho always wished for during his lifetime. This is an extremely heavy but extremely glorious task so that the descendants of our Vietnam and the public everywhere can come to visit and show their gratitude for the great contributions of Mrs. and President Ho Chi Minh.

Second, the preservation and promotion of historical and cultural values ​​of the Kim Lien relic site and the tomb of Mrs. Hoang Thi Loan needs to be associated with the organization of "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example" in a practical, appropriate, creative and most effective manner, contributing to building the Party, State and organizations in our political system to be increasingly clean and strong.

Third, in the coming time, the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province need to organize well the research, study, dissemination, development and implementation of the action program to implement the Resolution of the 11th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress into reality in life. At the same time, I also respectfully request that the central ministries, branches, and sectors, provinces and cities across the country continue to pay attention, encourage and help Nghe An province to develop, become rich and civilized.

With my respect and love for the people and comrades of Nghe An province, I believe that the Party Committee, government, soldiers of the armed forces and people of all ethnic groups in Nghe An province will promote the revolutionary and heroic tradition, unite with one heart, and be determined to build our homeland into a prosperous province of the North and of the whole country as Uncle Ho instructed during his lifetime.

Once again, I would like to wish the President good health, the people and comrades of the province, and all delegates good health, happiness and success in life.
