Help 2 orphans in Thanh Chuong manage support resources

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 14, the delegation of Thanh Chuong District Party Committee, District Police and Thanh My Commune authorities discussed solutions to help two orphans in Hamlet 10, Thanh My Commune manage community support resources.

The delegation of the District Party Committee, Thanh Chuong Police and Thanh My Commune People's Committee worked with the grandparents of the two orphaned children.

In the past few days, the children's grandfather's family has received large sums of money, blankets, clothes, food, and provisions sent from all over.

To properly manage the financial resources and assets of the community to support the two children, implementing the direction of the leaders of Thanh Chuong district, the People's Committee of Thanh My commune issued Decision No. 02/QD-UBND (dated January 11, 2016) to establish a "Committee to mobilize and manage support resources for the two children Nguyen Ba Tuan and Nguyen Ba Duc in village 10".

At the meeting, comrade Dang Anh Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee and the Thanh My commune government, and emphasized the need to do a good job of managing the support fund to ensure that the two children can enjoy it for a long time, and ensure financial transparency for the community that has supported the two children.

Thanh Chuong District Police officers encouraged the two children.

Currently, organizations and individuals across the country continue to support the two children. The management and safekeeping of these support sources is especially important. The family is requested to coordinate with local authorities to implement this.

Many volunteer groups went directly to the families of the two orphans to encourage and provide support.

Also at the meeting, the delegation of Thanh Chuong District Party Committee, District Police and representatives of Thanh Chuong Beautiful Photo Group presented 12,300,000 VND to support 2 orphans in Hamlet 10, Thanh My Commune (including: Thanh Chuong District Party Committee: 5,000,000 VND; District Police: 2,000,000 VND; Youth Union and individuals of District Police: 2,300,000 VND; Photo Group: 3,000,000 VND).
