50 officers and soldiersTan Ky District Military Commandand militia joined to help people of Tien Ky commune overcome the consequences caused by storms on the afternoon of April 30.
The storm caused the roofs of 27 houses in hamlets 5, 6, 9 and 3 to be blown off; the corrugated iron roof of a garage of Tien Ky Secondary School was blown off; 19 hectares of crops were knocked down; and 30 hectares of acacia trees were knocked down.
The district's armed forces helped people whose roofs were blown off to re-roof, reinforce houses, clear fallen trees, reconnect power lines, clean up the environment, etc.
The timely and meaningful actions of officers and soldiers have contributed to helping people in areas damaged by tornadoes quickly stabilize their lives.

Ms. Hoa is a poor household, now 73 years old, but she still lives in a dilapidated house. With the support of the district Red Cross, the family started to build a 2-room house, with a total area of over 40m2.2. Estimated cost is nearly 200 million VND. Of which, the district Red Cross supports 50 million VND, the rest is supported by brothers and children. The house is expected to be completed next July.
Humanitarian Month 2019 of Dien Chau district was deployed from April 19 to May 19 with the theme "Connect, share and spread", Dien Chau Red Cross Society started to build 2 Red Cross gratitude houses, each house worth 50 million VND, sponsored by Dong Hai Company, Military Region 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

Mon Son Border Guard Stationorganized the donation of blankets and mosquito nets to the Dan Lai people in the core area of Pu Mat National Park, Con Cuong district.
120 blankets and mosquito nets were presented by Mon Son Border Post, Nghe An Border Guard to Dan Lai ethnic households in Bung village, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district. Each household was presented with a set of blankets and mosquito nets, with a total gift value of nearly 20 million VND, the gift was mobilized by Sai Gon Giai Phong Newspaper, calling for support from benefactors.
The donation of blankets and mosquito nets helps the Dan Lai ethnic people practice the habit of sleeping under mosquito nets to ensure health, prevent diseases caused by insect bites, especially prevent malaria.
