Contribute to creating trust among the people
(Baonghean) - In order to do a good job of receiving citizens, recently, the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee have developed and implemented the Project "Receiving citizens and handling complaints and denunciations of citizens". Up to now, after 5 months of operation with 5 citizen reception sessions (periodically on the 10th of each month), the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee have organized to receive 79 citizens in the province.
At the meetings, the leaders of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee took turns to directly preside. Therefore, the issues presented and recommended by citizens were all seriously received by the leaders of the two organizations, especially the issues that citizens proposed and recommended were answered and analyzed thoroughly and reasonably. When citizens came to the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council to present their recommendations, proposals, aspirations and problems, they often felt frustrated, but when the leaders of the Delegation and the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee clarified the issues, they were very satisfied and "convinced".
The Provincial People's Council surveyed the actual situation of complaints and denunciations of citizens in Hung Nguyen.
Some people even left without getting the results they initially wanted (because they still thought this was the place to directly resolve citizens' complaints and denunciations), but they still had nothing to complain about with the officials receiving them. In addition to creating trust for citizens with a polite and receptive attitude from the leaders as well as the staff participating in receiving citizens, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council also went directly to the grassroots to verify each specific case that citizens reported and petitioned, from which there was a basis and practical basis to recommend to competent levels and branches to properly and promptly resolve the content of work that people complained, denounced and reflected.
Directly participating in the delegation to survey the situation of handling complaints, denunciations and petitions of citizens in some districts of Hung Nguyen and Yen Thanh of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, witnessing the scene of wading through the fields, going to the people to grasp information on each case (6 cases in Hung Nguyen, 5 cases in Yen Thanh), we understand the concerns of the comrades in the Standing Committee of the People's Council, who want to ensure the legitimate rights of the people. This also affirms that the elected bodies have really been closer to the people, paying attention to solving the work as well as things related to the lives of the people.
Based on the results of the survey team, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council issued a notice recommending that each level, each sector, agency and unit take action to resolve each specific content of each specific case based on the practical experience collected by the survey team, in order to improve the quality of handling citizens' complaints and denunciations.
Mr. Tran Van Mao - Standing Member of the Provincial People's Council, affirmed: The monitoring and urging of all levels and sectors to handle complaints and denunciations of citizens in the past time has not been thorough. On the other hand, the situation of complaints and denunciations of citizens is becoming more and more complicated.
Therefore, it requires the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, the Committees, the Provincial People's Council delegates as well as the National Assembly delegates to continue to pay attention to and participate in order to better perform their roles and tasks in receiving people, monitoring and urging competent authorities to resolve citizens' complaints and denunciations, contributing to creating trust among the people, enhancing the responsibility of the authorities at all levels to truly be of the people, by the people and for the people.
