During the past term, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the Provincial Business Bloc have closely followed the requirements and tasks of socio-economic development of the province and enterprises to proactively advise and propose to the Party Committee and government to assign the Youth Union to undertake youth projects and tasks.

Thereby, creating a practical environment for union members and young people to affirm their pioneering role in creative labor, contributing youth efforts to carry out socio-economic development tasks to meet the requirements and production and business tasks of enterprises in the new situation.

One of the outstanding results of the Business Bloc Youth Union in the past term was the movement "Volunteering to develop the economy - society and protect the Fatherland", "Accompanying young people to establish a career" deployed by grassroots youth organizations, creating a widespread influence.

The Youth Union bases have regularly coordinated with professional organizations to launch emulation movements in production and labor, improve efficiency, labor productivity, product and service quality, mobilize resources to support remote, isolated and disadvantaged areas in socio-economic development, encourage and motivate young union members to participate in research and application of scientific and technical advances, promote topics, initiatives and rationalization in labor, production and business.

Typical examples include: The Youth Union of Nghe An Water Supply Company Limited annually launches the "Summer Water Supply Campaign"; The Youth Union of Hoang Thi Loan Textile and Garment Joint Stock Company promotes the movement "Shocking in creative labor, socio-economic development", implementing shifts from beat 3 to beat 7 at the Fiber Factory; The Youth Union of Tan Khanh An Company Limited with the movement "Promoting initiatives to improve and rationalize production to improve productivity and business efficiency in the company; good at one job, know many jobs"; The Youth Union of Bac Irrigation Company Limited, Nam Irrigation Company Limited volunteered to work overtime at reservoirs, scoop up duckweed to clear the canal system for irrigation and flood prevention;...

In addition, the Youth Union always takes the lead in studying to improve professional qualifications, creative work, research, and mastering scientific and technological advances, contributing to increasing productivity, labor efficiency, and product and service quality.

In many units, the Youth Union has taken on the responsibility of replacing and putting into use management software, production lines, and modern machinery and equipment systems. The "Young Creativity" and "4 Best" movements have been widely deployed throughout the Union.

At the same time, the Youth Union has proactively advised the Party Committee and leaders to create favorable conditions for young union members to participate in training courses to improve their professional qualifications; coordinate with trade unions and professional organizations to organize practical activities such as: Competition for talented young workers; Competition for professional skills, Competition for golden hands; Youth competition with the movement to promote technical innovation initiatives, Good salesman, Good transaction officer, etc.

Typically, some Youth Union units have consulted with the Board of Directors to establish a council to support initiatives and scientific research to stimulate and support young union workers to promote creativity and propose initiatives in the production and business process. The number of young union members assigned to manage and master modern technological lines and key positions in enterprises is increasing.

With the motto "On-site volunteering, towards the community", the volunteer activities of the youth of Nghe An Business Bloc in the past term were implemented effectively, practically, bringing profound humanistic meaning, attracting a large number of young union members to participate.

In addition to regularly maintaining good on-site volunteer activities such as: Youth Union volunteers to go to distant construction sites, work in difficult areas, volunteer to work overtime, participate in taking on difficult stages and new tasks of enterprises, the youth of the Block always actively participate in the volunteer front for community life and social security.

Typical movements include: Participating in supporting “Building new rural areas”, “Tet for the poor”, “Supporting children to go to school”, “Warm winter, loving spring”, “Voluntary blood donation”; activities towards borders, islands, gratitude, for beloved juniors…

The past term also marked the special attention of the Youth Union for the young workers. It has presented 60 gifts to young workers in difficult circumstances at the units each year with a total value of more than 300 million VND; annually organizes the "Youth Workers Festival" and "Youth Workers Singing Festival", creating a healthy playground for young workers at the affiliated units to contribute to encouraging, sharing and helping young workers in difficult circumstances in enterprises.

The voluntary blood donation and health care movement for the people continued to be promoted. During the term, the Youth Union of the Enterprise sector participated in 12 voluntary blood donation campaigns, collecting more than 1,500 units of blood. The activities of "Repaying gratitude" and "Drinking water, remembering its source" were regularly and effectively implemented, attracting a large number of enthusiastic Youth Union members and were highly appreciated by public opinion.

In particular, through the above activities, it has contributed to educating young people about community awareness and the sense of responsibility of youth towards their homeland and country, while creating a close relationship between young people in the business sector and the masses.

At the same time, the Youth Union of the bloc paid attention to the work of developing the Party among the Youth Union members. As a result, in the period from 2012 to the first 6 months of 2017, the entire Youth Union introduced 1,257 outstanding members for the Party to monitor and consider admission, of which 911 comrades were honored to join the Party.

In addition to the remarkable achievements, in the past term, the Provincial Business Bloc Youth Union still had some shortcomings that need to be focused on overcoming in the next term, such as: The implementation of movements at some establishments is still formal, ineffective and unsustainable; the movement has not promoted many initiatives to improve techniques, improve quality in management and production and business; the quality of activities of the Youth Union in private enterprises is still low, etc.

With the slogan "Youth of Nghe An Province's Business Bloc united, creative, proactive, voluntary and integrated", the Congress for the term 2017 - 2022, the Business Bloc Youth Union sets the goal: Building a Business Bloc Youth Union strong in ideology, organization and action; diverse in content and forms of activities, creating a favorable environment for young union members to strive to study, work, contribute and grow.

Building a young, dynamic, creative human resource with professional qualifications, sense of responsibility, industrial style, good health to master science and technology, proactive, creative, volunteer to contribute to making enterprises competitive in the integration period, overcome difficulties, and develop sustainably. Actively participate in Party building, strive to maintain the title of excellent unit in the Youth Union movement of the whole province.

Promoting the initiative and creativity of young union members in studying and working in production, in the coming time, the Youth Union under the Business Sector will continue to be proactive in undertaking youth projects, contributing to promoting production and business activities for the sustainable development and integration of enterprises, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province and the country.
