Comments on draft propaganda documents, studying and following Uncle Ho suitable for ethnic minorities in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 11, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department held a workshop to contribute ideas and supplement the draft of propaganda materials, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle for ethnic minorities in Nghe An province, before asking for opinions from the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee.

Attending the workshop were the Appraisal Council, Editorial Board, Working Group, authors of articles, some experts, representatives of leaders of some agencies, units and Propaganda Department of mountainous districts, some ethnic minorities in mountainous districts of Nghe An.

At the workshop, delegates and representatives of ethnic minorities living in Nghe An province, beneficiaries of the project, made many practical comments on the layout, content and presentation of the document.

The workshop recorded 14 comments and suggestions, many of which highly agreed with the draft's tight structure and basic content that met the requirements of Project 01-DA/TU.

Some opinions expressed suggested that the drafting committee should supplement and edit some contents. Mr. Luong Ba Viet (representing the Thai ethnic group in Nghia Dan district) said that the document needs to have a closer, more authentic and direct way of presenting so that ethnic minorities can easily access it. Sharing the same opinion, Mr. Vi Tan Hoi (representing Tuong Duong district) suggested that there should be an additional form of audiobooks to increase the effectiveness of the document.

Representing the ethnic minorities in Thanh Chuong district, Mr. Lo Hong Phong said that it is necessary to add more documentary photos according to the topics to increase the attractiveness and richness of the documents. In addition, it is necessary to select people with voice and influence such as retired cadres, prestigious people in the village to spread to the ethnic minorities.

After the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Project No. 01-DA/TU, dated July 28, 2021, on compiling and publishing propaganda documents, studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle for ethnic minorities, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department promptly advised on directive documents, determined the roadmap and methods for implementing the Project and deployed the steps according to the approved process.

Up to now, the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department has taken the lead in implementing important tasks such as: Surveying and assessing the awareness, customs and practices of ethnic minorities in Nghe An; Collecting documents to serve the content; Researching and collecting documents in some areas where Uncle Ho worked such as Cao Bang and Hanoi; developing document outlines; organizing workshops to approve the outlines; developing draft documents; organizing the first workshop to contribute comments on the draft documents.

Speaking at the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department said: Nghe An is the first locality to publish this document, so the compilation process still has many difficulties. Through this workshop, the drafting committee has received comments and expressed the desire to continue receiving more comments in the coming time to perfect the document, distilling the most core content for ethnic minorities to easily access.

After the second workshop, the Editorial Board will continue to supplement and edit the draft content to submit to the Appraisal Council and the Steering Committee for the implementation of Project 01-DA/TU. It is expected that the Editorial Board will submit the draft to the Provincial Party Standing Committee at the meeting on April 27, 2023.
