Contribute ideas to improve the quality of grassroots trade union activities and prevent and limit strikes.

Attending the conference were comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation. Mr. Kha Van Tam - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation chaired the conference.

The first content of the conference is to collect comments and suggestions for the Project "Improving the quality and efficiency of grassroots trade union activities in the Southeast Economic Zone and grassroots trade unions with a large number of workers".

The purpose of the project is to improve and enhance the quality of activities of non-state grassroots trade unions under the State.Southeast Economic Zone Trade Unionand grassroots trade unions with a large number of workers in the whole province, building increasingly strong trade union organizations, adapting to the operating environment in the conditions of economic integration and the socio-economic development trend of Nghe An province in the coming years. At the same time, the project contributes to building non-state grassroots trade union organizations in the whole province, gathering and attracting a large number of workers in the Southeast Economic Zone and workers.

Based on the current situation and causes of the quality of activities of grassroots trade unions under the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union and grassroots trade unions of non-state enterprises in districts, cities and towns in recent years, the project has proposed specific targets and solutions. Regarding the targets and solutions, delegates had many comments such as: Propaganda work, innovation in organizing cadres, building separate mechanisms and policies for grassroots trade union cadres, dividing targets by stages, building harmonious labor relations, resources to implement solutions, etc.

Concluding this content, Mr. Kha Van Tam hopes that the project needs to be specific and concise, and should be divided into stages; at the same time, it is necessary to frankly acknowledge the problems at the grassroots trade union. Regarding specific targets for tasks and solutions, it is necessary to invest in diverse content of solutions. At the same time, it is necessary to add goals for the Southeast Economic Zone Trade Union.

In addition, delegates contributed ideas to the Project "Some solutions to prevent and limitstrikesnot following legal procedures in Nghe An province, period 2022 - 2030".
The project was born in the face of the fact that from 2018 to June 2022, Nghe An province had 19 strikes at 16 enterprises in 8 districts, cities and towns. The strikes occurred mainly at FDI enterprises (accounting for 57.9%) and in the garment and electronics industries. Determining that this is an important project used to advise the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to issue the Project "Some solutions to prevent and limit illegal strikes, causing negative consequences for the stability and development of localities in the province", the comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee had many concerns to build the project in the most complete, adequate and accurate way.

Regarding this project, the head of Nghe An Trade Union - Mr. Kha Van Tam acknowledged the comments of the members of the Standing Committee, especially, emphasizing the importance of the project for Nghe An in particular and the security situation, economic and social order in general and having specific directions to complete the project content.

Also at the conference this morning, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation gave opinions on the establishment of sub-committees of the 19th Congress of Nghe An Provincial Trade Union, term 2023 - 2028; establishing the Steering Committee for equitization of Nghe An Trade Union Tourism and Trade Company Limited.
