Representative of the Standing Committee of Nghi Loc District People's Council gave comments |
Supervisory activities are one of the main functions of the National Assembly and People's Councils as stipulated in the Constitution. The supervisory activities of the National Assembly have been regulated by the Law on Supervision since 2003. However, in reality, the supervisory activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils are stipulated in many documents; despite efforts, the National Assembly and People's Councils have not yet effectively performed their functions; the deputies have not fully performed their responsibilities, and each locality has different supervisory methods... Therefore, when giving additional comments to the draft Law, the deputies focused on clarifying the scope and methods of supervisory activities so that they are effective and do not overlap with other activities; the forms of supervision and the procedures for issuing documents after supervision; the Law on Supervisory Activities is closely linked to questioning and explaining, answering questions, and taking votes of confidence, so after supervision, what are the forms of answering, reporting results and handling after supervision?...
