Grand Prix: Vietnam futsal team lost 1-3 to Costa Rica
The Vietnamese futsal team ended the Grand Prix in Brazil with a 1-3 loss to Costa Rica in the fifth-place match.

Despite controlling the ball more, Mr. Bruno Garcia's students did not create any scoring opportunities in the first half. For their part, Costa Rica did not pose much danger to the goal of the Vietnamese futsal team, so the first half ended with a score of 0-0.
In the second half, an individual mistake by the Vietnam futsal team created an opportunity for the Costa Rican team to break the tie with a leading goal. But immediately after, Ngoc Son found the equalizer for his team with a powerful shot.
However, the Central American team continued to take advantage of the lack of concentration in defense to score two consecutive goals, thereby winning the match with a final score of 3-1.
In the two previous semi-finals, Brazil beat Guatemala 6-2 while Colombia beat Iran 4-3. Thus, host Brazil will meet Colombia in the final.
Participating in a major futsal tournament for the first time, 5 out of 6 teams have participated in the World Cup, the Vietnam futsal team with nearly half of the team being young has gained many useful lessons. Today (November 16), coach Bruno Garcia and his team will return home.
