H'hen Nie casting Luong Dinh Dung's movie
The beauty queen was praised by the director for her acting ability even though this was her first audition.
Director Luong Dinh Dung recently held a casting for the action movie "578" in the Southern region. Miss H'hen Nie was also present to try her hand.
The beauty shared that before meeting Luong Dinh Dung, she was very nervous. "When auditioning outdoors, I felt more comfortable. The director let me express myself, not forcing me to follow any character. If I'm lucky, I hope to have a role, even a small one, in this project," she said.
Mau Thuy was also present at the audition. Director Luong Dinh Dung said that at first he was a bit worried about the acting ability of the beauties. However, when casting, Luong Dinh Dung was surprised. He confided: "Your acting is very special. With such a professional and serious way of working, if you persevere and pursue to the end, surely someone will become an international film face. I have determined what roles H'hen Nie and Mau Thuy will play. I am extremely excited."

In addition to Ngoc Tinh, H'hen Nie and Mau Thuy, the casting session also had the participation of candidates from many places such as Da Lat, Dong Nai, Binh Duong, Vung Tau, Kien Giang... The selected actors will be directly instructed by Alain Figlarz - action director of famous blockbusters such as "Unleashed", "Lucy"...
The film "578" is adapted from the novel of the same name written by Luong Dinh Dung. The film has a pedophilia theme with a production budget of 60 billion VND. The story revolves around a container truck driver and his young daughter who lives a nomadic life on the roads. One day, he is informed that his daughter is severely depressed due to the consequences of a sexual assault. The father painfully sets out to find the culprit and confronts an entire underworld to regain justice. The filming is expected to take place in Son La, Yen Bai, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
The film is expected to start filming later this year and be released in 2019.
Luong Dinh Dung, born in 1973, is a writer, screenwriter and film director. In 2017, his film "Father and Son" participated in a number of international film festivals and was sent by Vietnam to compete in the Oscar for "Best Foreign Language Film".
