H'Hen Nie meets Miss USA who once criticized her English

During her business trip to New York, USA, Miss H'Hen Niê (second from right) spent time at the headquarters of the Miss Universe organization. H'Hen Niê was happy to meet Miss USA - Sarah Rose Summer again. At Miss Universe 2018, the two had a close relationship and often worked together.

After the semi-final night, during a livestream and when asked about the Vietnamese representative, Sarah commented: 'H'Hen pretends to know English. If she receives a question in English during a conversation, she acts bewildered with a bright smile'. This comment immediately made Sarah feelheavily criticizedfrom social networks to international newspapers, accusing her of racism and national language discrimination. Immediately after that, Sarah had to repeatedlyapologize. H'Hen posted intimate photos, affirming that their relationship is still good, not affected by the unexpected incident.

On the occasion of the reunion, H'Hen gave Sarah a rose - true to the American beauty's name. H'Hen also sent congratulations to Sarah for receivingproposalfrom boyfriend Conner Ryan Combs after the 2018 Miss Universe finals.
