Colonel Bui Dinh Quang - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police, Head of the Criminal Investigation Agency of Ha Tinh Provincial Police said: At 11:00 p.m. on August 22, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (PC47), Ha Tinh Provincial Police coordinated with the Drug Crime Prevention Task Force No. 2 of the Coast Guard, the Drug Prevention Force of the Border Guard, the Drug Prevention Control Team of the Customs Department, the Vung Ang Port Customs Branch and the Ky Anh Town Police to successfully break the case, arresting 2 subjects for illegal possession of drugs.

Two subjects Nguyen Cong Cuong and Pham Kinh Dung (X) were caught red-handed with evidence.

At that time, the Police, Border Guard, Customs and Coast Guard forces suddenly raided room 301, For Love Hotel in Ky Trinh Ward, Ky Anh Town, and arrested two subjects: Nguyen Cong Cuong (42 years old), residing in Hoi Son Commune, Anh Son District, and Pham Kim Dung (28 years old), residing in Block 15, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City (Nghe An).

At the scene, the authorities seized 3.7 kg of crystal meth, 1 military gun, 7 bullets, 1 knife, 2 small scales, 1 set of crystal meth tools, 2 mobile phones and a 5-seat NISAN car with license plate 37A - 23115. Initially, the subjects confessed that the above drugs were purchased from a Laotian and brought through Cau Treo International Border Gate, then transported to Ky Anh Town to sell for profit.

In early 2015, the PC47 Department, Ha Tinh Provincial Police reported to the Provincial Police Department to establish a case. Due to the complexity of the case, the Provincial Police Department established a special task force headed by Colonel Bui Dinh Quang - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department, Head of the Investigation Police Agency.
