Ha Tinh supports Nghe An with 500 million VND to overcome the consequences of natural disasters
(Baonghean.vn) - With the spirit of "mutual love and support", the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province have mobilized all officials and civil servants to donate to support and share difficulties with Nghe An people in areas affected by floods.
On the afternoon of October 5, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province led by Mr. Tran The Dung - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee presented 500 million VND to support people in Nghe An province affected by the circulation of storm No. 4.
Attending the reception ceremony on the side of Nghe An province were comrades: Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of the leadership of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee.

Recently, due to the impact of storm No. 2, storm No. 3 and the circulation of storm No. 4, Nghe An province has continuously suffered heavy to very heavy rains, causing flash floods, landslides and widespread flooding, especially in the districts of Ky Son, Quynh Luu, Thanh Chuong, Hung Nguyen, Nghi Loc, Tan Ky, Do Luong, Anh Son, Hoang Mai town... causing serious damage to people's lives, property and state works.
In the spirit of "mutual love and support", the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province have mobilized all cadres and civil servants to donate and support the people of Nghe An in flood-affected areas.
Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung shared the difficulties and serious losses of Nghe An people in areas affected by natural disasters, hoping that people will soon stabilize their lives.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hoang Nghia Hieu thanked the precious sentiments of the government and people of Ha Tinh province, timely helping the people of Nghe An in times of difficulty and disaster. The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also informed about the damages caused by rain and flood and said that currently the Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An are focusing on overcoming the consequences of natural disasters with the determination not to let people go hungry or thirsty.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and the Provincial Relief Committee pledged to transfer the money given by Ha Tinh province to the affected people as soon as possible.
Also on the afternoon of October 5, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province received donations from units and organizations: Dong Nam Economic Zone Management Board (26 million VND); Department of Construction and its affiliated units (100 million VND); Vietnam Cooperative Bank, Nghe An branch (50 million VND); Bao Viet Nghe An Company (10 million VND)...
As of 4:00 p.m. on October 5, the Provincial Fund for the Poor and Relief Mobilization Committee has received registrations for support of over 10.4 billion VND, from more than5,900 units, organizations, businesses and individuals help people overcome the consequences of floods.
