Ha Tinh streamlines over 2,000 staff
Implementing the policy of restructuring the apparatus and streamlining the payroll, from 2015 to present, Ha Tinh province has reduced 29 specialized departments, reducing over 2,000 payrolls.

Mr. Tran Huy Lieu - Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Department of Home Affairs said that by 2021, Ha Tinh strives for each department, branch and sector to reduce 1-2 specialized departments (expected to reduce at least 15/150 departments); People's Committees of districts, cities and towns to reduce 1-2 affiliated specialized departments (expected to reduce at least 13/155 departments); reduce 255 administrative positions compared to the planned target assigned in 2015.
For public service units, reduce at least 10% of public service units in the whole province; reduce over 3,200 positions out of a total of 29,166 public service positions compared to 2015.
According to Mr. Tran Huy Lieu, when arranging departments and units, it is not simply a matter of arranging them to have enough scale, but the units review all areas to analyze the shortcomings in the old organizational model to synthesize analysis and reorganize them according to task groups./.
