Previously, at the end of 2016, property thefts occurred continuously in 6 communes in the Southeast of Nghi Loc district. The subjects committed reckless thefts, causing outrage among the people. Faced with that situation, the leaders of Nghi Loc district police established Project 616T to combat the situation.
The task force encountered many difficulties because the thieves were often mobile and the communes bordered Cua Lo town. However, with perseverance in staying in the area and collecting information from many different sources, the task force was able to narrow down a number of suspicious subjects.
