Two subjects were arrested with 800 synthetic drug pills
(Baonghean.vn) - Nguyen Van Cong and Le Van Thang were discovered and arrested by the police while transporting drugs for sale. The seized evidence was 800 synthetic drug pills.
On December 25, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Huong Nam - Head of Hung Nguyen District Police said that the unit had just successfully broken up Project 121M, arrested 2 subjects with evidence of 800synthetic drug pills.

Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, Hung Nguyen District Police discovered two subjects with signs of illegally buying and selling large quantities of drugs: Nguyen Van Cong (born 1991), residing in Block 1, Quan Hanh Town, Nghi Loc District, and Le Quang Thang (born 1984), residing in Hamlet 3, Hung Chinh Commune, Hung Nguyen District.
These two subjects operate very sophisticatedly, constantly changing the time and area of operation in Vinh City, Nghi Loc District and Hung Nguyen. Faced with that situation, the district police established Project 121M to fight and eradicate them.
During the investigation, the project encountered many difficulties when the subjects frequently changed their phone numbers and places of residence. Nguyen Van Cong had 5 previous convictions, Le Quang Thang had 1 previous conviction, so he was very vigilant and had many tricks to deal with them.
After monitoring, at 6:00 p.m. on December 23, at Tan Lam block, Hung Dung ward, Vinh city, the Investigation Team arrested Nguyen Van Cong for possessing 600 synthetic drug pills weighing 224.135 grams.
Expanding the investigation, on December 24, in Dong Vinh ward, Vinh city, the Investigation Team arrested Le Quang Thang for possessing 200 synthetic drug pills.
At the police station, Thang and Cong confessed to their crimes. The police have temporarily detained these two suspects to continue investigating and expanding the case.
