Two subjects who attacked forest rangers surrendered

(Baonghean) - At 9:00 a.m. on October 3, two subjects who attacked the forest rangers came to the Do Luong district police station to surrender. At the police station, the two subjects confessed that Tran Quoc Hoa (39 years old), residing in Hamlet 4 - Da Son, was the owner of the timber, and Nguyen Van Thuy (37 years old, residing in the same hamlet) was the one who directly held the knife and slashed comrade Nguyen Anh Tien (Forest Ranger - Do Luong Forest Ranger Department).

Previously, at around 2:15 a.m. on October 1, the Do Luong Forest Ranger team, consisting of 6 forest rangers, arrested 2 vehicles transporting illegal forest products and were attacked by 5-6 aggressive subjects with weapons.

Currently, the investigation agency is continuing to clarify in order to establish a case file to prosecute the accused and initiate a criminal case.
