Two Nghe An teachers honored as National Outstanding Teachers of 2018

The award ceremony for outstanding teachers in 2018, as planned, will be held by the Ministry of Education and Training on the morning of November 18 at the Temple of Literature - Hanoi.

This year, Nghe An education sector has two teachers being commended, namely teacher Le Thi Lan and teacher Hoang Dinh Hung - teachers of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted. These are the two teachers who directly trained Phan Nhat Duat, who won the First Prize - National Excellent Student Competition in the 2017 - 2018 school year, Bronze Medal at the 2018 International Chemistry Olympiad.

In addition, the two teachers have also had many achievements in teaching and learning. In particular, teacher Le Thi Lan, from 2002 to present, has directly taught and trained many students to win high prizes in provincial and national excellent student competitions and guided students in scientific research.

In addition to having many students win high prizes in provincial and national competitions for excellent students, teacher Hoang Dinh Hung also guides students in scientific research to participate in science and technology innovation competitions. At the same time, he won the National Encouragement Prize in 2013 and the National Third Prize in 2014.

Also on the evening of November 18, at the "On behalf of words" gratitude ceremony organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Television, and Education and Times Newspaper, teacher Tran Van Nga - Vice Principal of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted will be a typical teacher invited to participate in the exchange. Previously, teacher Tran Van Nga had many consecutive years of achievements in training students to win high prizes at the Asia-Pacific Physics Olympiad and the International Physics Olympiad.
