Two people beaten by locals in Quang Binh were identified as working as mosquito sprayers and were unrelated to the missing 6-year-old child.

On July 7, the leader of Ba Don town police (Quang Binh) said that two men who were surrounded and beaten by hundreds of people two days ago were not related to the case of a missing 6-year-old boy.These two people are Mr. Nguyen Huu Hung (28 years old) and Mr. Dao Dinh Vinh (45 years old, both residing in Thanh Mien district, Hai Duong).

"They only work as mosquito sprayers for hire," said Lieutenant Colonel Le Van Hoa - Chief of Ba Don Town Police and added,These two people came to Quang Binh 4 days ago, rented a house and brought a spray bottle to invite people to spray mosquito repellent.

On July 5, when they entered residential group 8 (Quang Phong ward), they were surrounded and assaulted by hundreds of people because they saw strangers and suspected them of kidnapping children.

The authorities arrived early to restore order but were powerless due to the small force against the large crowd. Of the two, Mr. Vinh had to be hospitalized for two days. The Ba Don authorities are investigating the people who assaulted the two people spraying insecticide to take appropriate action.

Two days ago, hundreds of people rushed to beat two mosquito sprayers because they suspected them of kidnapping children.

Late afternoon on July 3, boy Tran Trung Nghia (6 years old, residing in Quang Long ward, Ba Don town) was suspected of being kidnapped, and his family has not yet found him.

According to the family's report, while the father, Tran Van At, was watering the plants in the garden, the mother, Duong Thi Thao, was cooking inside the house, the boy was playing in the yard outside. Ms. Thao called her son to come in for dinner but he was nowhere to be found. When he went missing, he was wearing a white T-shirt. The boy is the youngest of three brothers, his father is a construction worker and his mother is a housewife.

Some witnesses told the investigation agency that at the time of the incident, they saw two strange women with suspicious signs riding a red Wave motorbike.

Recent daysOn social networks, many pictures appeared that were said to be of the missing child in Hanoi and Hai Duong, but the family denied this information.
